Corrections

Thank you very much for choosing to stitch my designs. I would just like to mention a couple of errors that some stitchers were kind enough to let me know about...

If you have a copy of the Monogram Dragon, your 'threads required' list may include DMC 666 (Bright Christmas Red).

This colour is not used in this piece.

If you have a copy of the Maple Leaf Montage, you may notice 2 diamond shapes amongst the musical notes that are not listed in your key. These 2 diamonds were stitched as French Knots (using DMC 902) in the model. In the lower-right corner, there is a semi-colon that separates 19 and 26, this is also stitched using French Knots and DMC 902.

If you have a copy of the
Cairn's Birdwing, you may find that DMC 208 has been incorrectly named 'Medium Lavender' in both the 'threads required' list and the 'key'. This colour is, in fact, darker than DMC 209 (Dark Lavender) which is also used in this piece. Although DMC 208 should have been labelled 'Very Dark Lavender', it will have no effect on how you should stitch the piece.

If you have a copy of
'Santa's Secrets', you may find that the 2 Christmas trees that appear in the lower-right portion of the border are slightly different from the others... all the trees should be the same as those that run up the left side of the design.

If you have a copy of the
Hockey Player and decide to stitch the little B/W 'photo' alone, you may notice 8 black diamonds (representing DMC 939) at the figure's ankle. These should be stitched with DMC 310.

If you have a copy of
Thimbelina, you may notice on the 7th row of her left wing (the one that isn't partially covered by her Needle/Wand) a stitch marked "G" (representing Kreinik #4 Braid 102). This stitch should be sewn with 2 strands of Kreinik Blending Filament 045.

If you have an early copy of Sisters, you will notice that the Stitch Count appears as 121w x 75h... this should read 121h x 175w. The Design Size however is correct and remains 11"w x 7 1/2"h (on 16-count fabric).

I am very grateful to Michelle E. of Texas for pointing out an error in one of the later printings of "Neptune/Poseidon". Unfortunately, the straight stitches which form the details of the Mermaid's face were omitted from this printing. This is how her face was stitched in the original model. As I mentioned to Michelle, let's make sure that we start out from the same position on our charts... See how the Mermaid's eyes are stitched as two DMC 3859 cross-stitches which are separated by a nose that's fromed by two DMC 758 cross-stitches? These eyes are highlighted by adding a little back stitch/straight stitch under each eye, using 2 strands of DMC 3859.

It'll be a little more difficult to explain the position of her mouth. You see the two DMC 758 cross-stitches which form the Mermaid's nose? Moving to the immediate right of these 2 stitches, you'll find two DMC 3770's which represent her chin. Lay a little, single-strand DMC 3859 back stitch/straight stitch in between those two stitches.

... I apologize for these errors and, to those stitchers who alerted me to them, thank you very much.
