Your little stitchband baby booties make perfect Christmas ornaments and using them in place of a bow on baby gifts adds a very special personal touch. On seeing the booties, my brother suggested that they could be filled with lavender or other fragranced material and used as sachets. However you choose to use them, they'll be completed in no time at all and are sure to become treasured family heirlooms.
P.S. Happily, two of these designs can be completed in a couple of hours (the Rocking Horse and Baby Feet booties)... very handy for those "it's Saturday afternoon and the Shower's tomorrow" situations.
DESIGN DETAILS... The sole of each little bootie bears its own charming stitched design... a pretty little Umbrella, a cuddly Snowman, a Rocking Horse, a friendly, waving Teddy Bear or a pair of chubby Baby Feet. The sides of each carry information about the baby as well as your own heartful greetings.
AREAS OF EMBELLISHMENT: ALL BOOTIES... are finished with a ribbon tie at the ankle and carry Crescent Colours Tartan Plaid lettering. Sealing cut edges with Fray-Stop before stitching is recommended for ALL booties.
