Soft Bookube



Stitching breathes life into an old favourite and creates a great addition to a toddler's library

Turn the Bookube around, and it tells the tale of Miss Muffet and the big, hairy spider!

Each line of her adventure with the spider occupies one side of the Bookube

The main figure, of course, is Miss Muffet and her story is told in pictures that fall into 2 types

Either full-colour, cartoon-style, illustrations with comic book 'quotation bubbles' or...

charcoal-coloured silhouettes composed, primarily, of 1/2-x stitches

This fun project would make a lovely shower or new baby gift. It could also occupy that special place in a child's book collection... Baby's 1st Book.

FABRIC FOR MODEL: 16-count Ice Blue Aida by Zweigart #3251 550 (similar to DMC 3756) I used a piece that measures 20" x 25"

STITCH COUNT: 240 wide x 320 high

FINISHED SIZE: 15" wide x 20" high (each side of the finished Bookube measures 5" square)
