A lovely and practical solution to the gardener's perennial problem of storing seeds...

This chartpack includes black and white symbol charts for BOTH of the designs pictured above; 20 little envelopes for storing seeds, alphabets and numerals for customizing the back of your Seed Purses and easy-to-follow assembly directions.

DESIGN DETAILS

FLOWER SEED PURSE... this piece is stitched in a combination of full and half cross-stitches using the soft palette of a wildflower garden. Focus is drawn to the middle portion of the design by a 5-petalled flower sewn in lemon-coloured Satin floss (the same floss that outlines the yellow Pansy petals. The centre of each flower is embellished with silver Kreinik #4 Braid (001HL) and maple-coloured Mill Hill beads (02041).

HOUSE SEED PURSE... this simple and quickly stitched design is sewn entirely in half cross-stitches with backstitched lettering . Sewn in 3 shades of over-dyed floss (DMC substitutions are included) and embellished with Mill Hills beads (#02002), it invokes dreams of strawberry-filled summer days.
