Suggested Retail Price: $6.00
A lovely, quick-stitched gift (IT'S MAINLY SEWN IN HALF-CROSSES) for a special teacher at the end of the year, for Christmas, retirement, birthday... any time! You may like to slip a piece of your child's artwork or a heart-felt message into your envelope. Or, perhaps, a gift certificate to a local coffee shop, tickets to an amateur theatrical performance or a gift card belonging to a favourite book shop. Your delightful embroidered envelope is sure to become a treasured memento.
Design Details... Sewn almost entirely in half-crosses, this embroidered envelope stitches up very quickly. It’s designed to resemble COLOURED CHALKS ON A BLACKBOARD and bears a 5-CENT ‘POSTAGE STAMP’ declaring that “EDUCATION IS THE KEY" (a key-shaped, brass charm completes this message). The word “TEACHER” is spelled out in bright colours while the words READING, WRITING and ’RITHMETIC appear to have been written with white chalk. The postmaster’s ‘INK STAMP’ reads “A” IS FOR APPLE. Your teacher envelope is sealed with AN APPLE-SHAPED BUTTON and RIBBON CLOSURE.
Areas of Embellishment: POSTAGE STAMP (Key-shaped, brass charm-enclosed in chartpack); 'A' IS FOR APPLE POST-MARK (DMC 30321 RAYON); BUTTON AND RIBBON CLOSURE (Just Another Button Company #2206)
