Design Details This design contains many of the details described in Margery Williams classic children's story. Look closely and you'll see Timothy (the wooden lion); the Model Boat; the Clockwork Mouse; the Skin Horse and the Garden Rabbits that loved to torment the poor Velveteen Rabbit. You'll also notice that the Velveteen Rabbit has 2 very different sides... his left side is brand new with shiny 'pink sateen' ears and nose, a bright button-eye and vivid spots (some of them fluffy with Wisper thread). His right side, however, has been loved for many years by his owner... his spots have faded, his whiskers and stitching have been carelessly repaired and his plush areas have worn off. Abandoned on the bonfire, a single glass Tear-Drop is falling from his faded, sad eye... and the Magic begins. Amongst the moonbeams and white moths, the Golden Flower (accented with Dew Drops) grows from this tear-drop and opens to reveal the Nursery Magic Fairy... the Velveteen Rabbit no longer needs to ask "What is Real?"
