What can I say?... I LOVE Thistles. The sighting of one of these strange, alien-looking (and too often unwelcome) plants is always a delight. One Father's Day, I decorated the table with small arrangements of Thistle blossoms - I'm still not sure whether the look on Dad's face was one of pleasure or bafflement!
